Ho, Ho Holly Madison (Hef’s ex) & Criss Angel celebrated their birthdays (41 for him and 29 for her) at Believe. Later at LAX, the birthday boy was spocked throwing money into the crowd.

What are the odds… Las Vegas got its worst snow fall (or is it the best…) in the last 30 years, closing roads and canceling and rerouting flights. The best snow quote goes to blogger David McKee who said “On Wednesday night -- after far too many glasses of wine, I went to sleep in Las Vegas... and woke up in Reno!”
The 2009 "Miss Universe Pageant" will not be held in Dubai as planned. The man made country had no problems paying the $10,000,000 pageant fee but wanted to Miss Israel to be excluded. Las Vegas officials were happy to step in and depoliticize the event and it to the cities pageant crown.
Usher headlines the New Year’s party at Bellagio’s The Bank… find out what’s happening for New Year’s in Las Vegas. Kimo’s Vegas Tip: On NYE The Strip will be closed at 5pm until after Midnight and Strip casinos will close their doors around 9pm (no key no entry). The Fremont Casino doors on the Street Experience will also be closed (unless you have a wristband).
Bob Martin the famous Broadway actor and playwright, has been hired by Steve Wynn to work on a new musical biography of the Bee Gees.
Putting his moolah where his mouth is... doubling down and opening Encore Get the link to hear Steve Wynn’s guided tour of Encore (the 2.3 billion dollar, 2,200 room hotel-casino) with Steve Friess. Next December he’ll roll the dice again and open Encore Macau.
If you’ve seen David Copperfield's An Intimate Evening of Grand Illusion at the Hollywood Theatre you may remember the illusion near the end of the show where he walks through a huge industrial and then makes it disappear. Last week an assistant was pulled into the fans spinning blades breaking his arm in multiple places and cutting his face. Show goers say they saw him fall to the ground and there was blood everywhere. The assistant is reported to be in good spirits joking with friends and co-workers after waking from surgery.
6,119 closet Santas from all over the World ran/walked in the fourth annual Las Vegas Great Santa Run on the Fremont Street Experience. The Guinness Book of World Records was set last year when the run had 7,269 St. Nick’s.
Las Vegas Judge Jackie Glass has ruled that the memorabilia that OJ Simpson was convicted of trying to retain be returned to L.A. and sold by the sheriff with proceeds going towards the families who won the $33.5 million dollar wrongful death civil suit.
