The desert palace sold for about $3.5 million less than its 2006 sale price of $8.5 million). If you’re wondering what that kind of coin buys these days… 14,300-square-feet that includes six bedrooms, seven-and-a-half bathrooms, a 16-car subterranean garage, an elevator and a movie theater.

Minus 5 the ice bar at Mandalay Place is remodeling… they’ll be adding 19 tons of ice.

The guys who created the Fountains at Bellagio, WET Design have a unique sculpture at Crystals titled “Glacia”. The 15 columns of water are frozen overnight and are randomly carved as they rise up from a shallow pool. As the ice melts it returns to its original state in the pool of water where the process is repeated.
