Kimo,

Sorry I didn't write to you sooner. I got caught up in trying to catch up on the days we were away. Our trip was pretty good considering I forgot to bring home the 17+ million in the MegaBucks. We got to visit with my wife's brother and his family and also got to see my daughter and her apartment and work place. She has 3 jobs with property foreclosures, real estate, and tending bar at the Ghost Bar in the Palms.

It is on the 55th floor with a large balcony area and a great view of the strip, glass floors that you can see 55 floors down, and a sound system that really vibrated my pants when I passed in front of it (it actually felt pretty good). When we went there on a Saturday night, there was a line to get in and you had to be on some kind of list. Good thing we had connections.

Gambling wise, we did come home with alittle more than half our budget so I guess it was some what of a success.

The "V" show was pretty good. I didn't know what to expect and was suprised at how informal the showroom was. This is NOT a complaint, especially since it was so hot in Vegas and I was walking around with shorts and slippers, but rather comfortable. The host of the show was hillarious!!!! He is the show and seemed to get funnier and funnier as the show went on. The other acts was pretty good too, with the young boys on their unicycles with basketballs, and the two Russian brothers doing their acrobatic, amazing acts of strength and agility, etc.

I want to thank you for the tickets as my wife and I really enjoyed ourselves. Since we were so busy visiting with family, it gave us an excuse to get out and just tour the strip.

Oh yea, we made a short trip (1/2 hour) through the Wynn building, and although we obviously couldn't see the rooms, I thought it was overrated. Probably the rooms and locations makes up for it being the most expensive hotel built in the world but, I'd rather live in Hawaii anytime.

Mahalo again for the show tickets.

Norm
